Info
Derivan Matisse Fluid Mediums Open Medium extends the working time of Matisse Structure and Flow Formula Acrylics, allowing smoother blending and longer workability while maintaining the paint’s consistency. Structure Acrylics retain their impasto quality, while Flow Acrylics gain added body without losing their smooth flow.
Ideal for outdoor painting or hot conditions, Open Medium keeps paint workable on the surface and fresh on the palette for several hours, depending on the weather and the amount used. It also gives paint a smooth, buttery feel and a glowing satin finish.
Mixing Ratios: Add as little as 10% Open Medium to increase working time while maintaining paint coverage and consistency. Higher proportions extend drying time further, with an equal mix of paint and medium providing maximum retardation. Using more medium than paint creates greater transparency for layering.
This is a 250ml pot of Derivan Matisse Fluid Mediums Open Medium.
