I've never used concentrated watercolours before and did a lot of research before buying this set. The 'Radiant' watercolours by Dr Ph Martins might be a little more vibrant from what I can tell, but they fade, whereas the Hydrus watercolours are lightfast. I've used them on various types of paper now and always get a lovely result. They're versatile and economic, and very quick. I use them a lot for sketches, and one drop goes a long way and there's no need to waste anything left over on your palette because you can rehydrate it even when it's dry. You can build up saturation with layers to get great vibrancy, and it works brilliantly over masking fluid. I also like mixing the colours as you're able to get some great shades, and while my pan and tube watercolours haven't been made totally redundant, I am somewhat converted into using liquid watercolours for the most part.
