Multiple line tools allow the printmaker to make multiple parallel lines with a single stroke. These tools are great for softening edges, shading, and background, achieving a Florentine look, and applying multiple lines with absolute consistency. Made with high carbon tool steel, these custom tools can be used on wood, metal, copper, zinc, Plexiglas etc. They are designed like the graver and pushed over the working surface.
All Multiple Line Tool are defined by their gauge size measured lines per inch, as well as their number of lines on the tool.
