The Flexcut Micro Palm Tools are suitable for relief printmaking methods such as linocut or woodcut. They are compact, ergonomic, and sharp, with ready-to-use edges.
Manufactured from high-carbon steel, reducing the need for frequent sharpening, these tools will respond quickly to a strop once the cutting edge starts to dull. The base of the tool fits comfortably into the palm and allows for full flexibility and reduction in hand fatigue. The wooden handles are crafted from sustainably harvested ash. Ideal for precision detail when working with lino, vinyl, woodcut, and other relief print surfaces.
This Mini Palm U gouge has a 3mm wide, shallow sweep cutting edge.
