Handprinted Batik Wax is a blended wax made from 80% paraffin and 20% beeswax, commonly used in batik, one of the oldest forms of textile surface decoration.
The hot wax is applied using a traditional tool called a tjanting, allowing for precise lines and intricate patterns. The wax resists dye, protecting selected areas of the fabric while the rest is coloured.
