Handprinted Xpandaprint, also known as Puff Paste, is an aqueous, specially formulated printing paste that creates a three-dimensional raised effect when heated. It can be applied using a screen, brush, roller, or sponge and will expand when heated with a heat gun. For best results, do not allow the paste to dry before heating; the expansion works most effectively immediately after application.

The print will begin to rise during heating at approximately 120-125°C.

To achieve good fastness, the expanded print must then be cured at 130-140°C for 2 minutes, or up to 150°C for 1 minute.

Raised prints are sensitive to high temperatures, so avoid exceeding these limits during any subsequent processes, as excessive heat can cause the raised effect to collapse.
