Jackson's Special Edition Absolute Black Paint is an ultra-rich, concentrated acrylic paint formulated to deliver the deepest, opaque black with a smooth, matte finish. Crafted for artists who demand maximum tonal depth, this versatile, water-based paint absorbs light rather than reflecting it.
With exceptional coverage and a smooth, even application, Jackson’s Absolute Black is suitable for a variety of surfaces, including paper, board, wood, canvas, and more. The paint's ability to create a flat, void-like effect makes it intriguing for use on three-dimensional objects. It is also a useful addition to an artist's palette for creating intense blacks and dramatic effects, and can be thinned with water for more expressive techniques. Absolute Black dries to a flexible, non-cracking film that is lightfast and water-resistant, making it suitable for fine art, illustration and mixed media, as well as sculptural and decorative applications.
