Jackson's : Brushmark Gel Varnish : 250ml
An acrylic varnish with a glossy finish. Ideal for use on painted surfaces, inkjet prints or photographs to add gloss, intensify colour and add brushwork effects.
| Q. Is this varnish permanent? |
| A. This varnish is permanent. |
| Q. Can this be used as a medium to be mixed with paint? |
| A. This varnish, in theory can be mixed with paints as a medium however the consistency and textural qualities would be reduced. It will not be as strong. A heavy gel acrylic medium would be better suited for this technique. |
| Q. Can this varnish archival and protect against UV light? |
| A. This varnish is not archival and does not protect against UV light. It its however inert once dry. The Brushmark Gel Varnish is intended purely to provide physical protection and to enhance the painting or print with the appearance of textured brush marks. |
