This brush set allows artists to compare the characteristics of the different long handle Jackson’s oil and acrylic brush fibres. Each brush has its own unique characteristics and will help artists produce a variety of effects.

- Jackson's Black Hog - Bristle Brush : Filbert : No.4. If you find most hog hair too coarse, but sable too soft, then our Black Hog brushes are worth a try.

- Jackson's Procryl Brush - Filbert : No.4. The hairs used for our Procryl brushes are finer than many other synthetic brushes. This allows for a greater liquid holding capacity. They are moderately springy.

- Jackson's Shinku - Red Synthetic Bristle Hair Brush : Filbert : No.4. Our Shinku brushes have a deep red glossy hair that possesses a good spring. It's the perfect brush for dynamic acrylic painting.
