Jacquard iDye for Polyester Fibre is a versatile dye that is formulated to colour a wide range of polyester materials. It will colour almost anything synthetic, including plastics and nylons, buttons, frisbee discs, thermoplastics such as Worbla and Thibra, 3D printed objects, toys, dolls, wigs, cleats, urethane coatings, and more.
Jacquard iDye Poly comes in a dissolvable packet, avoiding the need to handle messy powder. Simply drop the packet in a pot of water on the hob, add the fabric or objects and bring to a simmer.
For blended fabrics that contain both synthetic and natural fibres, use iDye for Natural Fabrics with the corresponding iDye for Polyester Fabrics simultaneously. Or try pairing two different colours for interesting two-tone effects. iDye Poly may also be used for sublimation transfer techniques and to dye the polyester threads that are used to sew many commercially manufactured garments.
