Marabu : Textil PLUS Paint

Marabu Textil Plus is an opaque, water-based fabric paint for school, hobby, leisure, and craft use. It is especially suitable for dark, as well as light-coloured, non-finished fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk, jute, and blended woven fabrics with up to 20% synthetic content. It is ideal for both painting and stencilling. Once fixed, Textil Plus is washing machine-resistant up to 40 °C.

The 12 colour shades offer excellent coverage, strong colour brilliance, and a very soft feel. All colours can be intermixed. For stiffer or heavier materials, applying a thicker layer of paint is recommended.

Before painting, fabrics should be washed to remove finishing and softening agents. Apply Marabu Textil Plus to the dried fabric and allow it to dry. Fix by ironing the entire painted area, working in sections of approximately 50 x 50cm, from the front through a thin cloth, using the cotton heat setting, for five minutes. Alternatively, fix in a preheated oven for eight minutes at 150 °C. After fixing, the paint is highly wash-resistant up to 40 °C.

Clean brushes and tools with water immediately after use. Wash and iron painted textiles inside out, or iron from the front through a thin cloth.
