Roberson Cobalt Siccative is a drying agent for oil and alkyd colours, designed to accelerate the formation of a surface film by acting on the oil's oxidation process. It should be used with great care – only 1-3% by volume – added drop by drop to the paint before mixing, as excessive use can lead to wrinkling or cracking of the paint film.
