I wish I'd known that Jackson's did their own brand of 5.6mm graphite leads before buying the more expensive brands. Anyway, 8B in a 5.6mm is just great, lovely and soft and smooth. Can make good black marks or lovely soft swirly lines can also be swiped with a wet brush for soft shading or scrubbed in hard with a paper stump/tortillon. These leads are as good as the more expensive ones and go up to 8B. They smell a bit funny but that goes off after a bit. Terrific value leads - get a Jackson's own brand leadholder and away you go.
