Jackson's Smooth Painting Panels are made of MDF and are available as singles or in packs of ten.
These economical panels have a surface that is tough enough for the most rigorous painting and mixed-media techniques.
They are machine coated with a gesso ground so that you can paint on them immediately. They are strong, rigid, do not warp and are light to carry. This makes them particularly good for painting en plein air.
These panels are moderately absorbent and so are great for underpainting or quick oil sketches. The surface of the panels is smooth with a slight tooth.
Please note: sizes may vary up to 0.5cm.
