Michael Harding Miracle Medium (MM0) has been carefully developed to provide a plant-based alternative to traditional oil painting solvents such as turpentine and white spirit.
Designed for thinning oil paint, it improves flow for blending and brush control, and can also be used for cleaning brushes and removing excess oil from palettes and painting surfaces. It is also different to a traditional oil paint solvent because it doesn't break down the polymer chains in drying oils, thus avoiding making the paint film brittle.
Miracle Medium is made from vegetable-derived ingredients and is formulated to be odourless and non-flammable. It provides an alternative for artists who want to reduce their use of conventional solvent-based materials without compromising the handling qualities of their oil paint.
