A. Gallo Watercolors are available as individual half pans and full pans, and in special themed sets. Each pan is wrapped in watercolor paper with a hand painted sample brushed over it. The sets are beautifully packaged with original marbled paper by Florentine artisan workshop Giulio Giannini e Figlio and a color chart printed on Arches watercolor paper. The colors are made by hand in very small batches. The watercolors are cadmium, cobalt, lead, and mercury-free.

I think all of the A Gallo watercolors are really special. I found them easy to unwrap. Unlike other pan watercolors, they have not dried out. They are wet and fluid when in use and then go back to being a pan paint after use. The colors are really special. Thank you for carrying these!

1 - Am very impressed with the Tintoretto travel brush that came with the set 2 - unwrapping was tedious - had to use a pen knife to cut the wrapper plus had to wash the paint off the wrapper to view the pigment info 3- colors are nice - won't be adding more colors nor repurchasing. Too many other manufacturers I prefer
