Jackson’s Bespoke Panel Builder allows you to choose the exact size of aluminium panel you require which we then cut and send to you. Made-to-measure panels incur a £10 set-up fee per size requested. Should you wish to order a quantity of panels in a particular size, this charge will automatically be removed from subsequent panels added to the order.

Order three or more of the same panel and size and receive a 5% discount. Order 10 or more of the same panel and size and receive a 10% discount.


Please note that bespoke panels will take approximately seven days to produce, so please add this to your regular delivery times.

To avoid unnecessary delays with any other art supplies you wish to purchase, we advise that these be ordered separately.

Our online Bespoke Panel Builder allows you to build your panel in three simple steps.

Firstly, choose the depth of panel you require from a choice of 2mm and 3mm thicknesses.  

Second, select the unit of measurement you prefer to use to enter the panel’s dimensions.

And finally, add the dimensions of your made-to-measure aluminium panel.

Our Aluminium Panels feature an anodised aluminium surface, which is widely considered the best process for the preparation of an aluminium surface for the application of paint. The panels present a smooth, grey, satin finish. Priming is not necessary but they can easily be primed with any of Jackson’s primers should a different colour or surface texture be preferred.

The conservation benefits and archival properties of the metal mean that aluminium art panels can easily be stored in damp studios where traditional painting surfaces might warp. Suitable for use with all types of painting media including oil, acrylic, watercolour, gouache, and ink.
