Belle Arti : Canvas Pad : 50x60cm

Belle Arti Canvas Pads are composed of sheets of acrylic primed medium grain cotton canvas each pad contains one free Belle Arti Cotton Art Board.

The texture is great for blending and while being fairly absorbent the heavy canvas takes acrylic or oil well. They are great value and can be used for quick sketches and plein air as well as being of a good enough quality to be framed and used for finished professional work. If you need a smoother surface it is easy to apply a thin extra coat of gesso to the surface.

The sheets on each pad are glued at the top and bottom to avoid the canvas wrinkling while you work (after painting is dry gently remove top painted sheet by dragging a palette knife along edges from inside gap).
