Colourfix Smooth is a new addition to the Colourfix range of papers and pastels by Art Spectrum. Like Colourfix Original papers, it is manufactured by screen printing a Colourfix Primer (in this case Colourfix Smooth) onto a high-quality archival 300gsm Hot Pressed watercolour paper made in Europe.

This produces a 340gsm pastel paper which is slightly less toothy than Colourfix Original, but which nevertheless has enough texture for multiple layers of soft pastel. The paper is sufficiently robust to be used for both dry and wet media: soft pastels, oil colours, acrylics, inks, oil pastels, gouache, watercolours, charcoal and pencils.

Colourfix Smooth is available in 20 colours. This is a Colourfix Smooth sheet measuring 50 x 70cm in the following colour: Deep Black. These sheets can also be bought in packs of 10.
