Art Spectrum Soft Pastels provide artists with colours that are pure, brilliant and intense. The very best pigments are selected and triple milled at maximum concentration to bring out the finest colour and provide the rich, velvety bloom valued by pastellists. This method of production produces smouldering darks, brilliant and intense pure colours and a range of subtle and delicate tints. Art Spectrum’s range of Extra Soft Pastels are great for finishing touches and highlights as this often requires a very soft pastel that can be applied over the top of many layers of pastel. This applies to both Whites, which are useful for adding whitecaps to stormy seas, or colours such as Flinders Red Violet, which are useful for sunsets and dramatic skies.
