At Artools tradition meets innovation in a range of products for printmakers who like to push the boundaries of tried and tested methods. Their quality tools are made of tempered steel with wooden handles shaped to make work easier.
Crible points are designed to put small holes or indentations in the surface of the plate, creating a dotted or stippled pattern. The technique dates from the very beginnings of metal engraving. This heavy duty crible point has a textured shaft for easy gripping.
