At Artools tradition meets innovation in a range of products for printmakers who like to push the boundaries of tried and tested methods. New products like protecting varnish, varnish for aquatint, gel medium and soluble lift ink allow for exploration of new techniques and have the advantage of preparing plates in less time.
Artools Hard Ball Ground is a traditional wax hard ground for etching. It can be smoked to darken, making it easier to see your drawing, and takes fine lines and cross hatching without chipping or foul biting.
