Info
At Artools tradition meets innovation in a range of products for printmakers who like to push the boundaries of tried and tested methods. New products like protecting varnish, varnish for aquatint, gel medium and soluble lift ink allow for exploration of new techniques and have the advantage of preparing plates in less time.
Artools Solvent Lift Ground is an absorbing and solving varnish that will remove selected areas of Black Satin varnish or wax ground from the plate. The Solvent Lift Ground can be painted on and after a few minutes gently removed with a soft rag. The exposed areas of plate can be reworked or re-aquatinted and etched again.
