Jackson's : Two Rivers

Made exclusively for Jackson’s by Two Rivers Paper Mill in Somerset, this conservation-quality paper is made from 100% cotton and linen rag. Its very hard-sized surface is exceptionally tough, allowing for extensive lifting, scrubbing, and reworking while helping pigments dry with sharpness and brilliance.

The inclusion of linen gives the paper added strength, while its distinctive random surface texture differs from the mechanically even finish of many other papers. Both sides are identical, so there is no right or wrong side to work on. As well as watercolour, it can be used for pastels, oils, printmaking, photographic processes, and mixed media. The NOT surface is slightly rougher than most.
