Canson 1557 is an acid-free, bright white paper with a light grain. The neutral and subtle surface is ideal for sketching and drawing with dry media. The paper is designed for use with graphite, pencil, charcoal, and marker pens. It is ideal for use with all forms of graphite because the surface grain retains pigment and the resistant quality of the paper allows for unlimited shading and repeated erasing. Canson 1557 is also suitable for watercolour, gouache, and pen and ink.
Canson 1557 Sketching Pads contain 50 sheets and are available in 120gsm or 180gsm (spiral pad only), in sizes A5, A4, and A3.
