Jackson’s Professional Wooden Centre Bars have a profile dimension of 13 × 43mm and are designed to fit stretcher bars with a single crossbar slot on each side. These slots are only included on stretcher bars measuring 76cm (30in) or longer. For optimal stability, a single centre bar should run across the width (the shorter side) of the frame. There’s no need for measurements or calculations when ordering – centre bars are clearly labelled to match the corresponding stretcher bar size, even though they are slightly shorter to fit neatly inside the frame. Simply order the same size centre bar as your shorter stretcher bar.
These stretcher bars are solid, easy to assemble, and are PEFC-certified, ensuring they come from responsibly managed forests where biodiversity is preserved and felled trees are replanted.
