Info
Edinburgh Etch (© F.K. 1997) is a mixture of 4/5 ferric chloride solution and 1/5 citric acid solution. The citric acid will improve the etching potential of ferric as well as dissolving the sediment, enhancing it's performance and producing an etch of the utmost precision. Its great advantage over straight ferric is that it can be used in flat trays with the plate face up, as well as vertical tanks.
