Made by skilled artisans using a recipe that is as natural and true as possible, they are made with a ‘lighter touch’ to preserve and reveal the beauty of individual pigments.
With a buttery texture that is admired in quality British oil colours the world over, each paint responds easily to an artist's brush or knife and handles beautifully.
The pigments in Cranfield Artists’ Oil Paints are chosen to offer optimal lightfast values with great colour intensity. The pigments in this range carry the ACMI accreditation AP or CL and ASTM lightfast levels 1 or 2.
The palette includes a full range of low soluble Cadmiums sourced from reliable suppliers, as well as excellent non-toxic alternatives to Leads and Chromates.
