Dry Derwent Inktense delivers pure vibrant colour but when completely washed out it is transformed into a translucent ink-like paint which, when dry, can be worked over.

The blocks are extremely versatile and can be used for a wide range of creative effects. You can use them like pans of paint, apply colour directly to wet or dry paper and use them on their side to cover large areas quickly. They can also be used on fabric to create silk paintings and quilts.

The tin contains all 72 colours: Sherbert, Lemon, Sun Yellow, Sienna Gold, Cadmium Orange, Burnt Orange, Tangerine Mid Vermilion, Scarlet Pink, Poppy Red, Hot Red, Chilli Red, Cherry, Carmine Pink, Crimson, Shiraz, Red Violet, Deep Rose, Thistle, Dusky Purple, Mauve, Dark Purple, Deep Violet, Violet, Lagoon, Peacock Blue, Navy Blue, Iron Blue, Deep Blue, Iris Blue, Bright Blue, Deep Indigo, Sea Blue, Dark Aquamarine, Turquoise, Green Aquamarine, Mallard Green, Teal Green, Iron Green, Ionian Green, Vivid Green, Field Green, Felt Green, Apple Green, Beech Green, Hooker's Green, Light Olive, Spring Green, Fern, Leaf Green, Mustard, Amber, Tan, Oak, Saddle Brown, Baked Earth, Willow, Red Oxide, Madder Brown, Dark Chocolate, Bark, Sepia Ink, Indian Ink, Chinese Ink, Charcoal Grey, Payne's Gey, Neutral Grey, Ink Black and Antique White.

But, inadequate packing, arrived rattled out of supports, broken and dusty. Not Jacksons prob - Derwent packaging (I would have broken them for use anyway). (Posted on 16/03/2017)

They are beautiful colours. It is interesting to see there is an extra blue stick that is not listed on the colour chart but it is listed as an individual stick for purchase on the website, so one can find out what the colour is named. The (Posted on 21/07/2016)
