Info
The Derwent Onyx Pencil delivers dense, jet-black tones with a smooth laydown, making it ideal for rich shadows, bold lines, and dense mark-making. It suits both quick, expressive sketches and can be sharpened to a fine point for precise technical or architectural drawings, giving you instant impact and clean definition.
Made from smooth, dark graphite, the core responds well to pressure so you can build deep values or keep things light for fine detail. Available in two grades, Medium and Dark, it sharpens to a fine point for crisp linework. The range is rated 8 on the Blue Wool Lightfastness Scale for work that lasts.
This is a medium-grade pencil from the Derwent Onyx range.
