Hanco offers a range of bespoke modifiers that can be used across the ink ranges, these modifiers can be used with other traditional ink formulations outside the Hanco ranges.
Hanco Clearset Compound is a gelled linseed oil. It is used to soften and reduce the tack of an ink. Some people prefer to use this instead of standard oil medium because it is easier to handle.
Hanco Printmaking Inks are recognised as a leading global brand with a distinguished pedigree in manufacturing expertise. Taking its specialised knowledge and state-of-the-art equipment, Hanco widened its range to incorporate etching and relief inks that sit alongside a selection of bespoke ink modifiers. In consultation with major research institutions and art schools, Hanco have fine-tuned their inks to give the highest possible performance. Their ink formulations are entirely vegetable-based, giving the environmentally conscious printmaker the opportunity to minimise their impact on the environment while still producing high quality prints.
