Hanco : Lithographic Ink : 454g : Tint Base

Hanco Archival Lithography Inks are vegetable-based inks formulated for printmakers seeking high quality results. Carefully selected pigments provide rich colour, excellent fade resistance, and reliable lithographic performance.

Each colour is finely ground on hardened steel mill rollers to produce a smooth, high-performance ink. The inks contain no added driers and can be adjusted as required using Hanco’s range of specialist ink modifiers.

All colours labelled ‘Archival’ have a lightfastness rating of between 6.5 and 8 on the Blue Wool Scale, while the remaining colours are rated between 5 and 6. The inks are made entirely with vegetable-based binders, without compromising print quality.

Hanco Printmaking Inks are recognised as a leading global brand with a distinguished pedigree in manufacturing expertise. Taking their specialised knowledge and state-of-the-art equipment, Hanco widened their range to incorporate etching and relief inks that sit alongside a selection of bespoke ink modifiers. In consultation with major research institutions and art schools, Hanco have fine-tuned their inks to give the highest possible performance.
