As ever, the best value-to-quality-ratio oil paint there is. Jackson's paint allows me to create the very large canvases I prefer to paint. I find Jackson's colours consistent, strong and of quality enough to hold their own when mixing. (Posted on 16/03/2017)

The consistency of this is too liquid. It needs to be thicker because as you know, in oil painting, white is used as a mixer as well as a lightener, so if it was thicker, it would work better for impasto and the artists would have the option of thinning. (Posted on 16/03/2017)

Really good oil paint and cheap in comparison to high street oils and branded oil paints. But i think that the quality of them is just as good. (Posted on 16/03/2017)

this is excellent, I am using this white now in some major works I am doing, as opposed to the white I have been making myself. its consstency, ease and flexibility of useage, makes it rise above conventional whites by Winsor newton, Schminke etc. if its price is kept stable , I will continue to use it. An excellent product for the price, so extremely good value for money and it mixes well with other colours. I am a fan of W&N titanium white and use that a lot. In comparison Jackson's titanium white is much softer, so not so suitable for impasto work. I find it good for mixing colours at the early stages of the painting and, because of the price, not afraid to use lots of it. It is now my preferred white for the early stages of the painting. For a thicker consistency and those final flourishes, I still use the W&N.Most of my work is impasto, but, if painting in layers, I would think this paint would work well throughout the painting. Ive just ordered six tubes of this excellent paint which should take me through most or all of this summer. I have chosen tube paint now as it is easier to work with than the white I have been making myslef. ones habits can change ....I prefer this paint to winsor Newton s white, even , which I find too oily.
