Jackson’s Oil Paper Blocks are ideal for use in the studio or for creating work on the go.

Each block contains 15 sheets of 230gsm Natural White paper with a canvas texture, which is sized for oil painting. The paper is made with cotton and lignin-free wood pulp and is acid-free, FSC Certified, and vegan-friendly.

Jackson’s paper block range includes blocks for watercolour, oil, and acrylic, and each paper is designed to provide excellent adhesion for each medium.

Available in sizes from 3 x 4in to 12 x 16in, and as loose sheets.

This was exactly what I wanted for oil painting studies while I'm learning. I'm using water mixable oils and it takes the paint really well, but I did quickly tear the paper when testing out how much water I could use. This isn't a problem as I'm not looking to thin down the paint much. I think it is priced very well and very affordable. (Posted on 22/04/2021)
