Jackson's : Premium Stretched Cotton Canvas : 10 oz
The 10oz traditional medium texture weave used for our Premium Cotton Canvas is suitable for oil and acrylic painting - from thin washes to thick impasto marks, and is universally primed to protect the natural fibres of the cotton. Each canvas is tightly stretched over a sturdy pine wood stretcher frame, and has the look and feel of a canvas that has been made for you by hand. Unique to this range are a number of sizes that have the proportions of the Golden Ratio, the shape considered most aesthetically pleasing throughout western art history.
Due to customer demand, we have increased the selection of sizes in our range of Premium Cotton Canvas 10oz to include more square sizes, a more varied range of standard large sizes with 38mm profile, and a broader range of rectangular sizes that are also suitable for working on triptychs or diptychs.

I've been using these canvases for a few years now and each one has arrived in perfect condition. Always tightly stretch with no dips. I find I can be brave and creative working with these canvases as they feel so robust to paint on. I have been painting with acrylics for about 18 months. This is the best canvas that I have found so far. Nice and thick, tightly stretched, and, most importantly, no dips in the surface at the corners. (Many other canvases have a dip at one or more of the corners because the stretchers have not been properly aligned.) This is a very good quality product. (Posted on 28/10/2022)Rating
