Jo Sonja : Artists' Mediums : Opal Dust

Jo Sonja Opal Dust is a clear gel medium containing fine holographic, light-reflecting particles that create an opalescent, gem-like sparkle without yellowing. It can be used on its own or mixed with Jo Sonja Matte Flow Acrylics to add glittering effects to a wide range of surfaces.

It can be applied directly to a dry, pre-painted surface or mixed with paint for a more subtle shimmer, with the effect appearing more dramatic over darker colours. Suitable for paper, card, glass, transparency film, plastic, canvas, wood, terracotta, tin, fabric, silk, and dried flowers, it can also be applied over Jo Sonja Texture Paste to create a snow-like effect.
