Info
Jo Sonja Black Gesso is a primer for wood, canvas, and metal that provides a smooth, fine-grit surface with maximum tooth. Designed to prepare surfaces before painting, it can be applied directly and sanded when dry for a smoother finish if needed.
It can be used undiluted on stretched unprimed canvas, or thinned with Flow Medium for airbrush application. The colour can also be adjusted with small amounts of Jo Sonja Artists’ or Background Colours, but it should not be mixed with oil-based products.
