Info
Lascaux Fixativ Liquid is a transparent, archival-quality liquid fixative designed to seal and protect a wide range of media on diverse surfaces. Ideal for invisible fixing of pencil, charcoal, pastel, and wax crayon on delicate paper, it also serves as a clear coat for watercolour, gouache, tempera, acrylic paintings, and gold leaf. On non-porous substrates, such as degreased aluminium panels, prints, photographs, and inkjet works, it delivers a silky-matt to slightly glossy finish.
Featuring superior transparency, outstanding lightfastness, and non-yellowing performance, this multi-purpose fixative can be applied in thin, even films using a brush. Multiple layers build up to achieve the desired seal or gloss level. Lascaux Fixativ Liquid ensures scratch resistance and long-term protection for artworks in studio or exhibition settings.
