Rising 100% cotton fiber boards are synonymous with quality, archival framing. They have become the cotton board of choice by many museums, galleries and framers worldwide.

Rising Museum Board has the cleanest bevels once cut with little to no feathering or blade drag; its level surface also has a very slight vellum surface so it will complement the artwork being matted and framed.

It has also been used since the 1970s by fine artists for various purposes due to its rigidity and dimensional stability. Andy Warhol used Rising for many editions of his silkscreen prints and it is also popular as a substrate for coloured or watercolour pencil. This is when its slightly textured surface comes in handy. It could also be used for letterpress, engraving, embossing and foil stamping.
