Rohrer & Klingner Traditional Drawing Ink is produced with modern raw materials, namely acrylic resin and highly concentrated pigment. The resin is translucent and resistant against amber discolouration and age, as well as resistant to water and smearing when dry. Because the ink contains a high density of pigment, the results are consistent when applied with tools such as technical pens.
The range of 18 highly luminous and brilliant colours are ideal for drawing and calligraphy. The inks are suitable for use with a range of tools, such as dip pens, brushes, quills, airbrush, and technical drawing pens greater than 0.35mm.
Rohrer & Klingner was established in 1892 by Johann Adolf Rohrer in Leipzig, Germany, and remains one of Europe’s premier ink and tusche producers. The company boasts a fifth generation of lithography specialists and a team that has a passion for manufacturing high specification ink. Following well established recipes, each bottle of ink is produced by hand, combining naturally binding, renewable materials with the respective colourant.
