This is a beautiful brush to work with, as all things there are a few downfalls but personally for me this is one of my favourite brushes within my collection,Rating
Starting with the few superficial flaws it has. Unlike other mop brushes which often curve after the ferrule, the handle of this brush just slopes right down, personally this feels slightly awkward in my hand but never impedes any functionality. Secondly, as minor as it is , the metal bands holding the handle are not tight enough and often slide down the handle. Slightly annoying but again, some slight tightening and we're good to go.
Now onto the greatness of this brush. Mop brushes can range in price wildly, from the cheaper Winsor & Newton Cotman to Winsor & Newton Series 7. This brush combines a great price with a great brush. The belly of the 120 is large enough to hold a lot of water for large washes however still has and maintains a nice sharp point for even fine details. Personally, I would say this brush is a great brush and alongside a small precision brush, would make a great set for all types of art. (Posted on 02/05/2020)
