The Speedball Silicoil Brush Cleaning Tank has been trusted by artists for over 70 years as an effective and safe way to clean and maintain brushes. Its innovative design features a smooth aluminium coil that gently removes paint residue while keeping bristles soft, pliable and undamaged. The coil’s surface separates brush hairs for a thorough clean without harming delicate fibres, helping extend the life of your brushes.
Simply fill the tank with solvent for oil-based paints or water for acrylics and watercolours, then stroke your brush across the coil to release paint. Solids settle neatly at the bottom of the jar, leaving brushes clean and ready to use again. To clean the tank, tilt the coil carefully to rinse out paint residue. The coil is not designed to be removed from the tank.
