Stonehenge fine art papers are 100% cotton, with a smooth, flawless, slightly mottled surface to resemble vellum. They are acid-free, buffered with calcium carbonate to help protect artwork from contaminated environments. Created over 30 years ago, Stonehenge was originally created for a variety of printmaking techniques including etching and silkscreen.

Over the decades it has become one of the finest papers for pastel, pencil, charcoal, acrylics and watercolour.

The shipment was well wrapped and protected with sturdy cardboard packaging, however, excessive sellotape around the plastic support bag could easily have come into contact with the Stonehenge paper upon opening. Thank you for such prompt service and delivery. (Posted on 04/05/2015)

Stonehenge paper is excellent for colour pencils. Many layers can be built up and it's surface is smooth yo work on. Only used the White and tinted to date but looking forward to working on the black (Posted on 03/11/2014)
