Gesso, Grounds & Primers

Grounds help you create the ideal surface for your painting. You can tint them with colour or leave them white - a white ground will give your colours extra luminosity.

Gesso, grounds, and primers are applied to surfaces such as canvas, wood, and paper, forming a stable and absorbent layer for your chosen medium.
