Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylic has a unique type of acrylic binder that is transparent both when wet and dry. This means that the colours do not alter in between their wet and dry states, alleviating any colour-matching issues that may be experienced with other acrylic paints. These paints have a longer working time than most acrylics, while still being quite quick drying.
The range uses pure, high-grade pigments across the range. Most of the colours are single pigments, ensuring that the colour brilliance is maintained when mixing, as well as giving clarity and strength to each colour. Artists are able to mix colours confidently, making it easier to avoid mixing dull or muddied colours when using complex pigment combinations.
