Jackson's : Artist Watercolour Paint : Full Pan : Cerulean Blue
Made to the exact same standards and formulas as the best professional artist watercolours available today, Jackson's Artist Watercolours are as good as any leading brand watercolour but at a fraction of the price.
They are made from premium Sudanese Kordofan gum arabic, honey, purified water and fine artist pigments. These ingredients are blended together and slowly ground into a fine paste, until the pigment particles are dispersed evenly. This allows for a flawlessly uniform wash.

This Cerulean surprised me at first as it leans slightly closer to a pale cobalt blue than the more l turquoise blue shade - but I really like it as a more natural sky colour and blends well in a sky wash with Ultramarine and cobalt blue. It has heavy granulation and flocculation creating interesting textural and separation effects in some colour mixes. I particularly love mixing it with iron oxide based colours for great textural greys / grey-greens, great for painting rock or stone as you can get the flocculation of the blue cerulean particles to resemble lichen if you get the mix right.
