Full of wide-ranging style and subjects, this book follows Bridget’s own watercolour painting and teaching experience. It clearly explains all the techniques she has explored and by constantly inviting an individual response from the reader progresses to the artist’s personal message and painting practice.
‘Painting Expressive Watercolour’ unfolds a fresh approach to gaining and exploring watercolour skills and, as with all privately-held books, may be read at any speed.
“Watercolour has the potential expressive magnificence of a full orchestra yet can be discreetly slipped into the pocket”
Known for her atmospheric landscapes, semi-figurative images, lively life drawings and paintings and publications, Bridget has been teaching and giving demonstrations in watercolour, life drawing and portraiture in the Chichester area, throughout Britain, France and Iceland over 35 years. Exhibiting at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and The Royal Watercolour Society she has held over 50 solo shows internationally.
