TotalCast Resin is an optically clear, high-gloss, hybrid polymer resin system suitable for the protection and decoration of artwork, paintings, or sculptures. It provides a tough coating with good abrasion resistance.
It is easy to use, curing at room temperature and self-levelling. The resin is non-flammable, odour-free, and contains no solvents. It is free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs), non-toxic, and has non-yellowing properties. Suitable for use on canvas, wood, MDF, photographs, and over acrylic, oil, watercolour, or enamel paint.
Each kit contains two components of Resin and Hardener, to be mixed in a 1:1 ratio.
Please note, the 1:1 mixing ratio must be followed precisely. Altering this ratio can negatively affect the resin's mechanical properties and prevent it from curing properly. Mix thoroughly for 3–4 minutes to ensure full homogeneity. Polymer systems heat up faster in a pot than as a thin film, so mix only the amount needed for the pot life.
